i you Recommend these settings for a best fluidity and reactivity:

- Stay on "Deadline" and "Ondemand", and put your frequency to 192MHz to 1512MHz.
- With Trickster Mod put the prefetch buffer size to 1024

Put the three animations scales on 0x5
And forced the rendering gpu

And

I suggest that very demanding people, flashed the last TrinityKernel, for increased fluidity and responsiveness ...

Hi fellow developers!

I successfully implemented EAP-SIM on my aosp rom, here is few pointers on how I did it:

First, a big reference is this:

It has source code for org.simalliance.openmobileapi.jar plus patches required on aosp tree. wpa_supplicant patch is not how sony did it so you can ignore it. I'm using Sony binary there, it would be interesting if someone could replicated what Sony does to avoid pre-built. I suspect it's not that complicated, but I don't have enough time for that.

So, let's go deeper in the subject:

1) Ril patches

EAP replies on being able to retrieve certificate from simcard, it does this by adding few request (RIL_REQUEST_SIM_TRANSMIT_BASIC, RIL_REQUEST_SIM_OPEN_CHANNEL, RIL_REQUEST_SIM_CLOSE_CHANNEL, RIL_REQUEST_SIM_TRANSMIT_CHANNEL).

Commit #1 , #2, #3.

2) SimAlliance api and SmartcardService.apk

SimAlliance is using a specific user to deal with api. Basically, Sony is using it unmodified, the only difference is the user id and name, Sony is using android.uid.smartcard, user id is 1029. I only re-use their APK, edited to allow logs and re-signed. Re-signed is important as it's using smartcard shared user.

3) Adpu service for wpa_supplicant

Now, this is where the fun begins, this one took me a bit of time to do it right (well, kind of :)).

At the end of 1) and 2), SmartcardService should run properly and api should be fine. To make the link between the api and wpa_supplicant, Sony is using a Unix socket with a pseudo-service (net.wifi.ApduService). I took a shortcut here to make it work, baksmali, change namespace, smali. I had to fight a bit with build system using an empty class for signature, I'm afraid I'll never understand java linking properly :).

This ApduService class is not very complicated and can be reversed easily for someone a little better at smali than I am, I didn't have the time and courage to re-implement it.

Communication goes like this:

a) When wpa supplicant connects to Wifi Monitor, state machine sends a SET_APDU_SOCKET APDU_COMMAND_SOCKET string command (APDU_COMMAND_SOCKET is socket name)
b) it then starts the ApduService that will listen to the socket
c) when needed, wpa_supplicant connects to the sockets, do the apdu exchange to get the certificate information, and then do the eap association.

4) EAP-SIM user interface

This one is piece of cake, basically you just have to add two new methods strings (SIM and AKA) and add a new enterprise field pcsc that should be set to "TRUE" when method is SIM.

To be continued... That's about it, but I will expand this post later on, I don't want to lose what I wrote up to know.

Sometimes all we need is the stock kernel to go back to when things have screwed up
or sometimes the latest CM/AOKP is not working because "please flash the latest .200 baseband for GSM and NFC to work"

So for those situations no need to download the whole 700 MB FTF.

I am proud to present to you BeanStalk Build for the Xperia S. This build is based on sources from @scott.hart.bti and @RaymanFX / OPENSEMC

This is a build composed off of the CM10.1 builds and scott.hartt.bti has added alot of features on top of it. So you get speed, stability, and ultra customization ability.
Many of the additional code additions came from slim ROM and also Derteufels build and have been modified to work with the current setup.

Before reporting bugs, please make sure you verify everything on your end and make sure you do a full wipe and format first to make sure it is a legitimate issue. Im going to say this once and only once... I am doing this for fun. It is my CHOICE to share my rom with everyone. If you decide that you do not like my rom, good for you.. Instructions

• CWM/TWRP: Wipe Cache / Factory Reset Note: You should be fine without this step, but it is HIGHLY recommended as it makes certain all bugs are wiped clean.

Be careful, this is a very preliminary build. Backup your stuff and expect problems.
DON'T TRY TO FORMAT any unformated external USB drive/key with OTG cable, it could format internal storage instead !!!

Introduction

Here is my port of JB AOSP 4.3 for our Xperia S. This is a work in progress, it's currently missing few of the patches I used in 4.2.X and few things are completely untested.

Installation and downloads

1. You need unlocked bootloader and a working recovery.
2. Download installation zip from here. (I know, uploaded.net is not the fastest of the earth, multipload mirrors coming soon. I'm not against posting any other mirror).
3. Copy it to internal storage
4. Wipe Data/Cache
5. Install gapps for 4.3. Currently, we don't have "official" gapps from CM team, I used PA ones with good success.
6. Reboot and let the rom settle down a bit

Kernel source code is here (branch jb-4.2-experimental).

Note: this rom flashes its own kernel that comes with TWRP recovery and last version of Boot Manager. Just use volume up/down to navigate boot manager menu and power to select if you want to go to TWRP. Don't play with Boot Manager options if you don't know what you're doing.

Install Instructions

4.Reboot your device, please remind that first boot will very slow
(Zips contain own kernel, not supported LB devices

*If you reboot your device and appear FC situation, just restart your device

Hey guys,
this is my first ROM, it is fully stable and I haven't experienced any bugs yet( (using it for 3 days).
It is especially for people who love to have lots of processes going on...like me ;)
So it has lots of free RAM. The ROM is very smooth and fast, even when lots of apps are running.
It is based on Stock ROM 6.2.B.0.211 . The ROM will work 100%.

Why should you flash my ROM?
I know that it says in most ROMs: flash it because its smooth and fast.
Well..my ROM has all unused bloatware removed and almost 400mb free ram (380mb)
It is not only deodexed, it is zipaligned as well, to make sure that you get AT LEAST the full performance from odexed ROM back.

Mobile Bravia Engine (2) will not work for UB devices!! You'll have X-Reality Engine instead (although it will still say mobile bravia engine 2 in the settings, it is x-reality)

Hello

since I'm new in developing apps,I have a request.

I work in a sale store as an IT salesman,and I have lots of tablets and phones exposed on a stand...I wanna create an app that keeps the display always on,and which shows a little presentation of our store,like the Retail Mode application the one Samsung has (http://retailsamsung.com)

Something like

- a presentation,and when you touch the screen,you can use the tablet normaly,but when the screen is off,the presentation should start by itself.



I would really apreciate some help :).Thank you
